After I took these photos and posted this, as I was finishing up my straightening, I found my 2E Monstrous Compendium off to the side (you know, the one in the binder?) which needs a spot on one of those shelves.
I remember being very in favor of the binder format, but I immediately hated it when it became a reality. In fact, the version I have is a heavy duty binder I had to buy to replace the original whose cheap cardboard covers bent and the rings came free from the backing.
