How would you rate your group's OOC chatter?

Generally 18-rated but, now we've got a couple of teenagers in the group, we try to keep it to 15, but we don't try too hard.

I picked PG-13; that's pretty close, on most nights.

I wonder if the fact that all 4 of my groups are co-ed has a bearing on it?

Nope, no bearing, I think. Every group I've gamed with in the past, oh, ten years has been a co-ed group. And every one of them has gotten to at least a hard R rating, if not an NC-17, in its OOC chatter. And it ain't the guys just talking over the girls, either; the ladies hold their own, and then some.

PG for the most part. One of our players is a fairly "proper" and devoutly religious fellow who tends to frown on cursing and excessive ribaldry, so the rest of us usually try to keep things from getting too out of hand for his sake.

When he's not around, though, it can occasionally reach R levels... *hums not-so-innocently* Us girls in the group are just as bad as the guys.

While my son is around, we all keep it strictly G-rated at least 99% of the time; the odd four-letter word slips out, but that's about it.

When he's not? We'd make Bob Saget blush. And anyone who's seen his standup knows that Saget is a dirty, dirty man.

In my group's off-topic conversation, we recently decided that Vecna was a woman, and happened to be pregnant when she attained lich status. Which, of course, means that there's an artifact called the Fetus of Vecna. Its method of activation should be obvious to all present.

It largely depends on if women are present. Overall, 50-50, but less often recently.

Some nights R, some nights more like PG 13.

Fits our group pretty well. Once in a while we can get worse, but it generally doesn't last long. We don't really have any boundaries, but it doesn't mean we really stray far either though.
