Human or Aasimar?

I am eventualy going to play in the city of the spider queen module. Now this isn't a question of which is the best PC to play I have already decided on a Pal1/Cleric eventually becoming a Sacred Exorcist.
I have created the PC at first level as an Aasimar Paladin with 19wis and 20cha, not bad.
But now I am thinking is the +1ECL penalty worth it. Okay there are some nice advantages to an Aasimar +2 wis & cha for starters, some resistances, darkvision etc.
My PC only has 12 Int so skill points are very low, 3/level.
Now if I were human I would have 17wis and 18cha again not bad, but I would have an extra feat (always useful) and importantly an extra 4 skill pints at 1st level and +1/level. And of course not forgetting no level penalties.
So I ask in your opinion or experience, what do you think is the best option. Steady human or fantastic (but slow) Aasimar.

Thanks

If you are going to use all the divine feats like quicken turning, divine shield, divine might etc then the aasimar is worth it. The value of those feats is exponential with charisma. You are looking at epic level equipment long before epic levels. You can get sword and shield with +1 enhancement and +9 worth of specials and use feats to push the enhancement bonuses up to 10 or more. Those kinds of items cost 7M gcs in the ELH. Now that they clarified that those feats are a free action instead of a standard action its worth doing. Exorcist has tons and tons of turning attempts.
