[Humor] What if...people started selling their ENWorld board names on E-Bay

MEG Hal

First Post
What would certian ones go for?
And how would they be valued? Post Count, familiarity etc...

I think I could get $0.45 for THG Hal now that I am no longer using it...
that is a soda at WalMart people!!!!

So whose names are valuable and why?

I'd sell my screen name. It comes with a near complete set of ENWorld PbP games and a decent (top 50) post count, so it'd probably fetch a pretty penny. ;)

Too much attention to post counts.....is there a prize involved in that? Seems lately everyone is talking about boosting their counts....

Of post counts and nick selling ...

Post count wars are a trademark of the EN World experience, some believe its why we have had so many boards switches/resets. :D

I sold Temprus on ebay once but the guy didn't bother to send the buck and a quarter winning bid! :)

We all know that "Postcount Means Nothing," as Crothian himself will tell you. But when we're having a humor thread, it's kind of assumed that the content of a post is humorous in nature. I was not implying any sort of superiority due to postcount. Note the ;) in my original post as well.

I suppose I was thinking of EQ character sales in my comment above. What does having the Grand Staff of Grandness really matter in the grand scheme of things? But EQ fans will pay for it. That's what I was joking about.

Postcount does mean nothing, but most of us who talk about it like it means something is in an attempt for humor. The only use it has is for telling if someone has posted a lot of a little, so we can tell if they are new to the boards.

However, if you want to buy some postcount, please send the money order to....:D
