Postcount does mean nothing, but most of us who talk about it like it means something is in an attempt for humor. The only use it has is for telling if someone has posted a lot of a little, so we can tell if they are new to the boards.

I wouldn't even go that far. Some people (like myself) are lurkers, and may be around a long time without posting much.

I think the names Piratecat, Eric Noah, Morrus and Crothian would sell well. I am sure mine would not get a single bid.
I bid $5 for Dragongirl, now what I would do with it I have no idea...

And what is that Hal can be a boy or girl?????

That's a good point. Placing importance on post counts, even in jest, may discourage newbies who are not yet aware of how the community works. But, I've spoken about this before, so I won't belabor the point. I'll stop commenting on the subject, lest anyone think I'm being hostile about the issue. If folk are having fun, I really don't want to be peeing on their party. I just thought I'd say what I thought, without intending to offend.

[Yoda]You have too many posts. Yes, too many posts to begin the lurking. [/Yoda]

Totally OT-Col. H, but I did "Check out the Middle Earth d20 conversion site - by the fans for the fans."
And I liked the site, kudos!
