So reading over the hunting snare, I was at first worried that there was a way to "milk supply" by checking it more or less frequently.
So I did the math, and to my pleasant surprise the hunting snare is completely non-abusable.
Whether you check the snare every hour 24 times a day, or 3 times every 8 hours.... the average supply you gain based on the die rolls is ALWAYS 3 supply (or 2 supply if you are monitoring them for 16 hours a day)
That translates into .125 supply per hour you have your traps out, no matter how you often you check them through the day.
I really like that, the trap is simple, provides a nice bonus to supply gathering (2x or 3x normal hunt/gather rates), but isn't really abusable, it just does its job. Thank you devs for a nice clean new bit of gear!
