So I came up with this idea: run a live D&D session, and then narrate some substantial events online before running the next session (advancing years and levels in between sessions). It seems to me like an awfully good way to cover a lot of plot and character with a short amount of time. It also seems like it would be hard to make a plot suitable for such stop and go action.
I assume I'm not the first person to have thought of this... Anyone else try to combine PbP and live action gaming? Can a campaign cross from one medium to another and still be cohesive and enjoyable? An advice on how to make it work?
