I am having a brain fart INT and CON increases

Correct me if I am wrong but....

If my INT modifier increases I do not get a retroactive increase to my skill points.
If my CON modifier increases I do get a retroactive increase to my HP.

Just wanted to double check what I told my players this morning (it's been a bit since I DM'ed)

Note that for Int (only), temporary increases from things like magic items (i.e. headband of intellect) and spells (i.e. Fox's Cunning) do not increase your skill points at all.
