My personal thoughts on them is I really enjoyed watching them when they came out, but they impacted me more like a night at the circus than at the movies (in that it was always thrilling to go to the circus, but the experiences never lingered as strong memories the way a movie that hits you does). And I don't think I have the same emotional reaction to characters in an avatar movie that I did in Titanic or The Abyss (and I can't stand the Abyss but I at least have feelings about the characters).</p></blockquote><p></p>
