Update: v6.9.1 is Live (Infrastructure Stabilized!) >First, a huge thank you to everyone on this thread. The traffic from EN World helped us hit the #1 spot on Viberank this week!

However, that popularity caused some "Port Scan Timeouts" and memory hangs on the server side earlier today. If you tried to use the Encounter Architect or PDF-Lore Chat and saw an error, I’m sorry—the "Goblins" got into the machinery.

I’ve just pushed a massive backend overhaul:

  1. Zero-Downtime Swaps: Improved health checks so the site stays up even during updates.
  2. Memory Shielding: Better handling of those heavy 5e Bestiary files.

  • 🚀 Standard Instance Upgrade: We’ve moved off the hobby tiers onto a dedicated production instance with 2GB of RAM to ensure zero lag during your Saturday night sessions.
  • 🛡️ The Redis Shield: I’ve implemented a distributed edge-cache. This "Airlock" handles the high-frequency polling from the Player Portals, protecting the database and keeping the UI snappy.
  • ⚙️ Foundry VTT "Strict" Mode: I’ve refined the JSON export logic. The VTT Bridge now generates even cleaner Actor5e schemas to ensure 100% compatibility with the latest Foundry versions.

To celebrate, I’ve just pushed a massive architectural overhaul to fix the "blank sheet" issues some of you were seeing with the latest Foundry updates.

What’s new in v7.0:

  • 🚀 Foundry v5.2.5 Validation: I’ve completely rebuilt the VTT Bridge logic. It now uses a custom "Type-Safety Sanitizer" to ensure every stat (AC, HP, CR) arrives as a pure integer, bypassing the strict schema validation that was causing blank imports.
  • 🛡️ The Feat Bypass: To survive the new D&D 5e v4.0 weapon activity system, I’ve pivoted attacks to "Feature" payloads. This ensures your monsters materialise with full combat data every time.
  • 📊 Enterprise Telemetry: I’ve added a live "Pulse" to my admin dashboard. We are currently supporting 200+ concurrent DM sessions with a 1.14s average latency thanks to the new Redis request-coalescer.
