I can't post/view the Links section!

I get this error when I'm logged in and try to view the Links section:

IMarvinTPA, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Why do I have this message on such a normal part of the site and how do I get access?

I have the exact same problem. One of the admins told me months ago that it was some kind of error, but never fixed it.
