I cast a sudden Maximised and Empowered fireball!

All right, it's my fault. I created Nate's character. And I gave it sudden empower and sudden maximize...

You know what... it hasn't been a problem.

Welcome to the world of the sorcerer

My sorcerer obtained a rod of lesser maximise at 7th level, and so at 10th level was dropping quite a few empowered maximised fireballs.

The big consideration IMO is since these feats grant such fantastic tactical flexibility to the wizard, where are the comparatively balancing feats for the sorcerer? Perhaps something to enable the sorcerer to cast any spell of his best spell level once per day </joke>
