I Got a Job!

After 2-3 monthes of filling out aps and applying and such and such, I finally got a job with a local business called Spokane Discounts. I can't wait to start tomorrow!

Good luck. I'm originally from Pullman and I know what kind of jobs are on that side of the state. I hope it pays enough to cover the bills and they don't treat you like slave labor.

Good luck to those looking for jobs. They just finished a big reorg where I work. I wasn't one of the 38 people who were let go, but I have been moved to a new position in a new department. On the bright side, after 14+ years, I'll finally be getting a cubicle next to a window instead of cube after cube in the middle of the buildings. Wheee!

Congrats. I am also unemployed in Spokane, so I know how you feel. Only been unemployed for a few weeks though.

There's nothing like months of applications and interviews to make you appreciate a job. Spokane eh, I trust you frequent Merlins. Perhaps you would know...Is Gorilla Bobs still in business?

The owner of Gorilla Bobs purchased Merlins some years ago and combined the stores together into Merlins. So, Gorilla Bobs ate Merlins and became Merlins basically.
