I got New DDM today.

It bigger than the blue dragon from the 3.5 starter set, if that helps.

Edit: took a picture to show the size of it. Put it next to a human cleric and a goblin.

I'm sorry to say this, but that green Dragon's head looks rediculously large. That, or I didn't look at the picture long enough and mistook it for part of the wing...

Edit: No, it is rediculously large. All I can think of when I look at that is some kind of cartoony dragon

That is one goofy-looking dragon...

The dire wolf, otoh, looks awesome!

Yeah, the green dragon is kinda goofy. Especially the nose horn.


The red one is quite nice, though.

After looking at the DoD DDM page, it seems as though WotC doesn't have pics of a couple of the finished minis; unless the Wyvern, Hooked Horror, and Lizardman are all supposed to look like half-unpainted models.

My crate will be arriving on Monday (stupid UPS not delivering on Sundays).

I can't speak for the wyvern, but I have seen the hooked horror. and have a couple of the troglodytes, (and the magma brute!) and I'm afraid they look that bad. :\

Some of the others are good-looking. All in all I think it's a good set.

I did notice that if you are putting out a product that is going to be the basis of your product, DDM Starter, that you probably shouldn't spell Elf, "Ellf" on the character card.
How many people saw that typo as it passed by their desk?

Typo, should be Ell Farcher.

Dire Wolf looks more like a werewolf or wolfwere hunched over trying to pass a stone.

The sculpting itself is very nice, but those limbs are crazy long.

Lighting looks fine to me.

Looks a little more like a werewolf than a dire wolf, but in my book, that's a good thing.
