Pathfinder 1E I hate Paizo!

I actually bought another Paizo book today [the Great Beyond]. I'm finding the softcovers a bit light on page count but the high quality production materials, attractive art and good writing have been winning me over, despite the price tag and length.

Interesting - I've often had similar thoughts. However, when I've actually dived into the books they've always turned out to have a lot more depth and content than I thought. Could be that 10-pt font they use too...:D

*sigh*

here is frustration: wishing to be able to buy these products but would rather not get kicked out of where I live as i work my meager 15 hours per week to try and pay some rent, but never getting quite enough to actually buy any piazo products.
*sigh* Frustration indeed.

I hear you. Things only changed for me this last June. The 4 years prior to that I was lucky to have any money past the 20th of the month, every month. I have a wife and 3 kids, plus I was/am also supporting my wife's parents, plus the mortgage, car issues, etc...

So its only been since June that I could dare to "waste" so much money on RPG stuff.

I tend to buy the sourcebooks as opposed to the adventurers or the adventure paths. I never ran the first two (Curse and Rise) and don't play 3e anymore. WIth 4e, I have a lot of material but I'm always interested in the great ideas that tend to come out of the various 'revised' books like Dungeon Denizens and Dragons, etc...

I am buying the Adventure Paths series, the Chronicles series, the Companion series and the Pathfinder RPG series. I don't buy systematically the Modules series. The quality of the material for the Pathfinder world is excellent.

Yeah they get my entire monthly allotment of funcash. Darn them and their riviting adventure paths, excellent rules, fascinating world, etc. etc. :p

yeah.

Granted, I'm a 4e fan. I like the CS, and I'm happy that 3e Cavemen, er, fans have been thrown enough of a bone that they can generally leave 4e alone. Still, if Paizo could bloody well get into 4e, we'd have some amazing modules to DM my players through.
The other products are also excellent, though I kinda wish the flipmat was easier to fold and store.

What also makes me happy is that the regular subscriptions allow for fiction by Elaine Cunningham, who is one of my favourite authors.
And the art is generally fantastic (though I find the ginormous elf ears a bit goofy; so sue me!).

However, I'm genuinely annoyed that they don't do 4e. I understand, they're only human (and they like 3e), but I'm a selfish, selfish man and I wants more 4e modules... and can't have them.
