I have a confession to make...

...I like combat.

Yes, I know I'm the player most likely to play the diplomat, cleric or PC who isn't quite as good in combat as the other players' PCs,

but I really enjoy combat.

Yes, I can happily go through the entire session just roleplaying and making a story,

but I really enjoy combat.

There. I feel better now. :)

Cheers!

I like combat as well. I've been told by those watching that when I'm controlling a PC and a fight begins, I get all serious and intimidating. Eyes of a killer is what they call it, and that I get all vicious and stuff. I've been known to intimidate RPGA DMs, both from a tactical and roleplaying standpoint.

And yet I'm the guy who does most of the talking when we're interacting with NPCs. When the mystery is afoot, I'm the one chasing down clues and burning 4E divination rituals.

I must say at the core though, if I go too long without killing people, I start losing interest.

I like combat, too. I also like other stuff. I like a combination of combat and other stuff best. But I am difficult to please (just ask the ladies ;)).

When the dice hit the table, you know it's GAME ON!

And combat means rolling lots of dice. :)
