We're creatures of habit, and we think just because we do X and like it, X cannot be improved upon. As an aside: I believe Monte, Johnathon and Skip had as much loving admiration for the D&D game as Moldvay, Cook, Holmes, and Gygax. I think Collins, Mearls and Rouse have just as much.
