how does the system work autofire weapons. does emptying the clip in someones direction tend to kill them or is it kid gloved or nerfed?

In my fantasy world (the one I live in) I would have liked to see Spycraft 2.0 be able to play not only Modern campaigins but space stuff too like Stardrive, Heavy Gear (minus mecha), or a scifi movie campaign (aliens, Bladerunner, etc..)

On the whole, the game is much more deliberately a platform for modern-styled games than the previous version, so non-spy games are not just a possibility - they're an intention

As for questions re: weirdness like psionics or space opera - that's not "core" at this time, but we certainly plan to address these things in the future. Speaking from experience, I have written a rather successful (at least, in playtest) 2.0 Star Wars conversion with only a little work. Those of you with the Shadowforce Archer stuff already on hand will be pleased to know there's a conversion appendix so you can bring some "fx" (what's that, again?) over to the new version while we get a chance to do it up right.

Look up (emphasis mine)...
Something cyberpunky like Bladerunner would be covered by the core rulebook. For something for sci-fi than that, it looks like a handful of houserules, or enough patience for an appropriate sourcebook would do the job.
