He gave his just finished script for a new Western titled The Hateful Eight to a few people and they managed to leak. Now he doesn't want to make the film anymore.

Just the title sounds awesome and I hope he reconsiders or that this is just a way to get agents off his back.

I hope he makes it, too. I liked Django - overall I'm a Tarantino fan anyway but I thought he did a great job with that one. I'd like to see more western style movies from him. Meh, if some producer starts throwing big enough numbers at him he'll probably make it.

I, too, think he's over-rated. Though, to be fair, I actually enjoyed the first Kill Bill, and he does have very good dialogue.

It does irk me, however, when people leak scripts and such online...it does kind of ruin the mystery of the movie. I can certainly understand and respect his decision.

Yeah, I can understand why he would be upset and not want to make the movie, I just don't care much because it's a Tarantino movie. Had it been someone who made good movies, I'd probably be a bit more interested.
