D&D General I made an app that creates D&D session summaries and tracks your campaign

This is a really cool idea that I would be way too paranoid about data security to use. Hopefully others who are less guarded about such things will enjoy it.
If it makes you feel more comfortable we do outline our audio data processing and don't store recordings/voice data long term:
  • Recordings are deleted immediately after processing
  • Voice samples are deleted after 48 hours

Hi everyone,

I play in quite a few campaigns and have a hard time taking notes while trying to stay immersed in sessions. My goal was to create something that removes the need for active note taking. It uses session recordings to create summaries for D&D sessions and even keeps track of your players throughout multiple sessions and automatically matches voices to characters.

You can try it out for free! let me know what you think

Interesting! What development environment are you using there? Please say it loudly so those in the cheap seats can hear. :)

In the right situation I could see a use for this. I'm awful at taking notes on the fly.

How does it handle - or can it handle - a player running more than one character at a time?

Also, is it smart enough to be able to distinguish actual play from table chatter? If it isn't, a lot of my game logs would contain random references to 21st-century food, various hockey teams, and types of beer... :)
Probably. It looks like the backend is powered by ChatGPT.

Coming back to eat my words a bit. I posted a year ago saying I wasn't sure if it was worth paying for, but I’ve been using it for my weekly games for a few months now and I’ve changed my mind. Great job on making such an awesome app, its been a game changer for my group.

Also kudos for being so active in building it, I've noticed its gotten significantly better in the last few months. Its great to see someone stick with a tool and polish it this much, the quality of the app and summaries have noticeably gotten better.
