I messed up cutting the sealed section in Dungeon again!

Mr. Wilson,

Please no more sealed sections! As you admit, they are quite expensive. People don't like cutting up their magazines. Is it really protecting anyone? Or just a marketing ploy?

Use that dough for some other content. The tokens were good, maybe another sheet in a different issue?

Thanks,

Jason

Well, for Dragon 300, I used scissors, and that was pretty irritating and uneven.

For the Dungeon/Poly issue, I used one of those plastic letter openers you get at job fairs and the like -- the one with the long point of plastic leading up to an angled razor blade. That worked very well.

Jasper, that was disturbing -- but I liked it. :)

Thanks to the miracle of scissors at the sealed fold, mine came open with no problems. It was only 12 pages or so, so it didn't bug me much.

Now, I just need to figure out how to work Searing Seed into my game without my players lynching me. ;)

They'll probably just beat me to death with a VHS copy of Warlock 2.

i don't feel so bad, now. i ended up really messing mine up, to the point where at first i tried to lift the whole thing out of the magazine (i thought it would come out like the tokens do). i then got my exacto knife and ended up cutting the entire section out.

the thing was, if you peeked at the section you are supposed to cut (i guess?), it looks like you are about to do a no-no. that's what got me.

argghhhh. NO MORE SEALED SECTIONS!

i did really like the adventure, though. :)

LOL!

Actually, I found the sealed section pretty tame compared to what Monte Cook wrote in one of the outside articles. It was all pretty disappointing, in my opinion.

But that's ME!

Here's the deal: If you cannot properly open the sealed pages, then you are one of the individuals that was not meant to read it.

:D

Best Option: Read a friend's who already mutilated hers, and keep your mags pristine! Worked for me!

Heh, yeah, I'd be a little iffy on using that spell on players:

"Now, vile wizard, prepare to meet your..."
SPLAT!
"Hey, what the...(sniff, sniff)...EWWWWWW!"
