It's so strange when I remember how I used to play this game -- just me and my friends, feeling like we were the only people in the world who knew what the Tomb of Horrors was.

What a wonderful thing to have a community like this, to get your brain so stuffed with ideas and support and reality checks...

I've really picked up a lot of good ideas from these boards, and I picked up my favorite supplement based on the raves of people here about it.

Also, the D&D Rules and House Rules forums have really helped me hone my ability to properly adjust the rules of most d20 system games to better suit the flavor and balance style that I want-- I'm a far better amateur designer than I ever could have been without this community.
