I need a good word for type of monsters

Different setting. All 3 arise in the same way, so I wanted a single term.

You know this is a D&D and D20 News and Reviews board, not some cheap knock-off setting board, right?

:p just kidding!

The Hollow

Nah, you do that and the next thing you know, you've got invisible guys in black robes running all over the place, and everything just goes to hell in a handbasket. Not even stuffed animals and household pets'll be safe. :p

The Unborn
The Never-living
The Crafted
Myrmidons (before the advent of the word "robot", this meant nearly the same thing in the middle ages)
The Infused
The Forged

...

can't think of any more. Good luck :)

You could use the word daemon, if you happen to not already have demons/daemons in your cosmology. It originally meant just a spirit.

Some information about the general flavor of your world might provide some inspiration. :) I'm a bit unclear on whether it matters if it is a spirit which animates the thing, or just some supernatural force. If the lattter, then some something like animatae sounds the best so far.

The (Fire) Necroforged

The dying embers of the elemental are captured and used to power constructs. The creator summons them purely to destroy them and capture the last fading spark before it returns to it home plane.....

similar for the last drop of water/dust/vapour of other elementals
