I need GM software for using flatscreen TV as a maptable

solamon77, I was curious what you ended up going with. Would you mind sharing which option(s) you chose and why?

After sizing up a bunch of different solutions, I ended up going with Roll20. It ended up being the easiest solution.

What I did is create two account: one Game Master account and one Player account. I open the GM account in Chrome and the Player account in another browser (in this case Opera). I then hook up a second monitor to my PC and have my desktop extended across both monitors. On the second monitor I put the Opera browser (in full screen mode). Then on the first monitor, which sits facing me behind the GM screen, I can control the fog-of-war via Chrome (which, as I said above, is logged in as GM). Because both monitors are hooked to the same PC, I can control both accounts with one mouse.

On another note, my primary monitor goes through my home theater's audio receiver so I can also control Syrinscape and other sound files while using Roll20. If I remember, I'll take some pictures of it all set up on Wednesday, the next day I run a game.

That sounds awesome! I'm glad you could find a working solution.
