I did a lot of work on Quickshots Charlie; maybe I can help.

There are several "random" scenarios that can be thrown at your PCs with no real rhyme or reason in QS Charlie. There's a couple involving attacks by the Scions of Cain... since you've already involved them, it might become logical that the Scions attack the PCs to either eliminate them or possibly test them for induction into their order. In fact, you might use an encounter with the Scions to lead the PCs back to Emma themselves, rather than waiting for the CotTE to do it.

That's a really good idea. I liked the Street Corner Preacher scenario in which he's killed by a sniper. Maybe the PCs can chase the sniper down and the sniper can either let it slip where she is before dying or, if the sniper escapes, he/she lets slip some piece of paper that has a clue as to Anne's whereabouts. Or maybe it's a setup and the paper is a red herring designed to draw the PCs off to a different location... Hmmmm.....

Apropos of nothing: the comic book Preacher had an organization known as the Grail, whose job it was to keep the line of Jesus pure throughout the two millenia since his death. By "pure" they mean inbreeding whenever possible, and by the time we run across them the modern descendent of Christ is a debased idiot who spends most of his time uttering nonsense words and flinging his own poo. Despite this, they worship him as divinity made flesh.

Now, what if there was an organization who wanted to treat the descendent of Eve this way... and what if they already had the descendent of Adam, and he hadn't fared as well as Emma had?

Not a bad idea at all. Blood & Relics already includes the Sang Real, which if I recall correctly, are descendants of those bloodlines. Throwing them into a campaign can really make things fun, as there are a number of groups always striving to protect or destroy people with such blessed blood.

Glad you like it. :) I always thought that was a fun scenario. I just hope your PCs respond smartly to it and don't get wiped out by that lone sniper. Also, try and have fun with the Preacher's Sinisight (from the first adventure). Depending on your PCs, there's no end to the fun you can have with that ;)

Actually, the Sang Real are descending from Angels or the "Lords of Light;" those who fought against Lucifer and his followers.

I may try the SinSight. Not sure how to yet. :)

In Cthulhu Now! there are a couple of adventures based around bringing big bad gods back to walk the earth (Hastur and Cthulhu). One is based around a rock band and another at an experimental dream research facility (never go to the experimental dream research facility, you know it isn't going to ever be good!)

I really enjoyed both and it would not be too much trouble to D20ize both of them, possibly substituting these Scions of Cain for normal cultists and have them trying to bringback/release/resurrect Cain himself? Or believing they can do? Maybe they need a true daughter of Eve to do that?

Anyway both adventures can easily appear as sidetracks to the big campaign also, but have major effects on any campaign world if the PC's fail. Shall we just say Florida is not a nice place to be in my Cthulhu campaign world!

Sorry if this does not fit the campaign world histort, I don't know anything about D20 Modern!

Those sound cool. I've taken a few CoC adventures and "d20 Modernized" them into my campaign. Where can I find "Cthulu Now!"?

In my house? Not much help there then......

The is one on US Ebay at present and US Amazon and little elsewhere including the Chaosium site (bar the Japanese/German version?)

There is also an adventure set for modern Cthulhu called 'The Stars are Right!' which has some great stuff in as well, I hope I am not mixing up the two content wise..... ]

Sometimes I don't know my arse from my Voorish sign.
