I need some good suggestions for 10th-15th level modules.

With RttToEE rounding up pretty soon, I'm shopping around for a 10th-15th level module. I had planned for some time to use GLACIER SEASON from Dungeon Magazine, but am now unsure. I don't even know how many modules of this level are out there to choose from- hence the thread.

I'm also giving careful thought to running a classic 1st edition module (complete with Erol Otis art). I could download any from Wizards.com and then print the conversion up from ENworld. Sadly, a couple of my players have played White Plume Mountain a few times, so running them through it wouldn't be all that bright unless I change a great deal.

Can you people recommend anything that'd suit my needs?

Headless Dungeon 89

Headless in Dungeon 89 is written for 12th level characters, thematically it would seem to fit in fairly well with RttToEE. I haven't run it I've just read it, but it looked pretty cool.

I've DMed Glacial Season, and I think it's a stand-up high-level adventure. My players got their behinds handed back to them repeatedly, but that didn't bother. Actually I liked that adventure very much. Just make sure your players are up to the task. They might want an easier adventure after the meatgrinder that the Temple is.

I'd also recommend checking out 'The Harrowing' from dungeon #84. It's a great high-level adventure involving

Lolth, Demons and Drow, and it takes place in the Demonweb. I liked that adventure very much, and it's the best they've published in Dungeon. Written by some 'Cook' dude :)

Ps. Midnight, go easy on your players. They've had a rough time in the Temple. :)

EDIT: Woohoo, my avatar looks nice... my preciousss..

There are couple I can think of off hand that might work for you:

Beyond the Veil by Atlas/Penumbra d20 written by Monte Cook

The Demon God's Fane also written by Monte Cook and published by his Mahalvoc Press company, distributed by Sword and Sorcery Studios.

Those are least some I know of that are within that range.

Rob Kuntz's Prisoners of the Maze looks not too shabby for a dungeon crawl, with the exception of the hackneyed begining (definitely some "1st Edition feel" there).

*WARNING*SPOILERS*

Demon gods fane uses a time travel schtick, in case you are one of those DMs like me who turns your nose up at time travel.

Well, despite the millions of people advising against it, I would recommend using Return to the Tomb of Horrors- but only if your party is composed of exceptional _players_ who aren't totally focused on hack 'n' slash.

While I think Return to the Tomb of Horrors is a fine boxed set and high level adventure, it is a 2nd edition product. Is there a good conversion to 3e somewhere?

On a similiar thread I posted all the adventures I have in my database of modules that are 13th or higher. It's about a month out-of-date. For example, Beyond the Veil hasn't had it there yet.

Here's a slightly more descriptive list:

Lord of the Iron Fortress (WotC - 15th level): The more I look at this, the more I like this. The players get to travel to one of the outer planes. The beginning is essentially a mystery. However, they point out will all the high-level divination spells, that part should be wrapped up in no time.

Green Bones (WotC - 15th level - Forgotten Realms Book): I haven't looked closely at it. I believe it's a simple encounter with a dragon or dracolich.

Glacier Season (Dungeon Magazine #87 - 15th level): Well, this is the one you were contemplating originally, so I won't waste any more time describing it.

The Harrowing (Dungeon Magazine #84 - 15th level): Essentially a "Queen of the Demonweb Pits" flavor adventure. Lolth, Drow, etc. Looks very good, and very challenging.

Hindsight (WotC free Web Adventure - 15th level - http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article..../ch/ch20010813a ) : I haven't done more than glance at it, but you can judge for yourself. As with all the Cliffhangers and WotC online adventures, it is pretty short.

Demon God's Fane (Malhavoc Press - 14th level): What I've looked at is good (if you don't mind the plot point mentioned above).

A Frigid Demise (WotC Free Web Adventure - 13th - http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article1...a/oa20010608a,3 ): I liked this one and thought it would make a good, deadly sidetrek. Basically invading a White Dragon's lair.

Pit of Despair in Demons & Devils (Necromancer Games - 13th level): Very good, but only for GMs who love playing mindgames on their players.

Possible spoilers for the weak at heart

My 2 cents:

After RttToEE, spend a session or two and reward your characters and put them in situations that remind them about all the things thay have just saved.. When they start to chomp at the bit for adventure, I would run:

1) Deep Horizion - a very good module that explores the underdark without sleep poision ;)
2) The Pit of Dispair from Demons and Devils if you want to try your hand at some deceptions and have a Paladin in the group.
3) Beyond the Veil from Atlas games for a fairly straight forward adventure.
4) Convert the "Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth" (S4). It is a very straight forward conversion and I have already done Drelzna if you want it.
