Hi T.J! Well, there's a couple of different ways you can go about this. It really depends on whether you're wanting to do it in live chat or on the message boards. On the chat you simply gather your group together at the one time (according to one timezone) and as long as you have at least three people including yourself as the DM, you are free to use Limbo, a chat room set aside for just this purpose. You may wish to recruit players here in the OOC Forum for ISRP or on the chat itself either in the RPG Live room or using private messages to players you'd like to invite from the ISRP rooms. (Please do remember that unless your recruitment is in-character you should not write your invitation to the chat room as a whole in the in-character ISRP rooms, Emporium, Arena, Guildhall, CRT, Clearing or Garden.) On the message boards, we have the Map of the Planes. There is a basic guide to the forum in this thread, Rules of the Road. In a nutshell, you just start your own thread noting your setting/situation and your rules about it in your opening post. You can recruit players on the OOC board here or just let them come to you in response to you opening post. I suggest that in the title you note whether the story is "open" for anyone to jump into whenever or "closed" to everyone except those players you have approved for it. A third option I think would be useful would be by "request", letting players know that you might be open to them joining in if they ask you first in email or private message. Please note that having these notes there does not always prevent people from trying to jump in anyway, but it helps and certainly makes it less likely for hurt feelings if you then have to ask someone to stay out of the story. I suggest you check out the forum to really get a feel for how it works. After all, there's nothing like seeing it for yourself. :) Neither on the message boards nor in the chat does your place as a DM mean that you are above the Code of Conduct of course, so if you have any trouble let one of us WizOs know either by reporting the post on the boards (there's a handy button there), telling a WizO that you see in the chat or dropping us an email. You'll find the email addresses of us WizOs simply by clicking on our names, and there's someone associated with each forum (you find who at the top ;) ). Good luck, have fun! - Pounamu
