And it was frickin' awesome!!! It's the first time I've really played in almost a year now. I DMed. It was me and two of my friends. They were asked by the owner of the local museum to go to an abandoned monastary to retreive a Crystal Parrot (from the Tome of Magic) because the museum has been broken into several times in the last couple of months and the Parrot would help him stop the people from stealing all of the good exhibits. The monastary was occupied now by some goblins, orcs, ogres and a troll. Also, there were four skeletons that could have been avoided if they had found the keyword to not trigger them, but they were delt with easy enough. They worked there way through the building, finding a little goblin with a gimp arm and saving him from the torture of the others, who ended up tipping them off that there was a troll waiting for them in the office. The end fight went pretty easily, the troll being set on fire only a few rounds in. They then returned to town and gave the Parrot to the museum owner who paid them (Well, the Magic-User anyway. The Cleric refused payment, seeing it as just a good deed.) and the last line of the night was "Now... How do I use this thing?" :-D
I'm so happy we got to play. And we're going to be playing every tuesday evening from now on. I'm really excited. :-D Oh, and if anyone if interested in using this adventure, let me know and I'll send you the map. :-D

P.S. I hope this fits into this forumn... I don't have a story hour written out for it, so I didn't think it would fit there.
