The thing is, just like DRM, this doesn't irritate the pirate community in the least. The only people it irritates and inconveniences are the paying subscribers because the pirate versions will have defeated the anti-piracy measures before being released into the "channels".

The other problem for DDI subscribers who don't use windows is that they can't download the character builder, so this material will not be available once they stop their subscription...

Out of curiosity, how would they defeat hyperlinks to the text? By cutting and pasting text?

Look back through the thread, a couple of people have done it, took them not long. Doing it in HTML then converting to PDF, I think, beyond me...

...But not the geniueseseses of ENW....

...Or even the complete a- wholes of the piracy world!
