D&D 4E I really don't like the new 4E PHB cover

Another point I'd like to make. How many people who are already fans of D&D are going to even care what the cover looks like. I don't know if I've looked at the covers of any of my books that seriously over the years; I'm more interested in what was inside. For people new to the hobby this would be a real concern, but since I think we are all already fans we're not in a real position to make predictions on what new folks would like. That's for the marketers.

Wow. Those are boardgames? They look cool.

What is the first one? Descent?

I can't make out the name of the second one....
That, my good man, is Talisman.

One here.

Ok, I'm already wrong. Actually the cover I liked the best was the 3.x edition tome-like look. Again, probably just me. I hope you do get a good cover though, I don't like the one presented either.

After 7 years of staring at the atrocious dull brown BeDazzler edition, I can definitively state that I couldn't care less what's on the cover.

That said, I simply like proposed 4e art more than the green dragon picture.

Heh heh.

I haven't actually played a lot of boardgames in recent years. I just recently discovered the joy of Zombies!

I will definitely have to look into these two, though.
