It does sound like you prefer much lighter weight games, I've heard good things about Fabula Ultima if you don't necessarily want old school flavor to go with lighter rules.
Its ok analog, I run it at the library as our second table, but I do miss my VTT automation.PF2 is a breeze with vtt but I’d not run it analog.
Yeap, it’s probably not too bad but it’s hard for me to remember back to 2019 when I last ran F2F anything. Seems impossible now.Its ok analog, I run it at the library as our second table, but I do miss my VTT automation.
Yeah its kind of interesting-- there's a lot of games that are much 'simpler' to run face to face, particularly with that emerging as such a huge value in the indie scene over the last 10-20 years or so, and the OSR, but PF2e is easier to run f2f than 3.5/4e/pf1e were, and I have first hand experience running 4e analog. It compares pretty well with 5e, provided the 5e party has some levels.Yeap, it’s probably not too bad but it’s hard for me to remember back to 2019 when I last ran F2F anything. VTT integration has been a lifesaver for a bunch of games I like, particularly games that run with dice pools. I'm a guy who computes quickly, so it never bothered me, but it definitely helped many in my group.
