I think we're gunna need a bigger bow...

Just a quick question: About how long would a Huge Composit bow be?

A long bow is about six feet wide (or tall). Note, then, that this huge bow is being wielded by a minotaur. So, rough estimation, what would you say the measurements are?

Pure guess 10-12 feet. The problem is a large creature is anywhere from I think 8-20 feet tall. So, I'm not sure if one standard size huge bow works for them all.

I Play a Minotaur Too

If a medium PC is about six feet tall, and the long bow is six feet tall. You could make the bow the same size as the Creature.

Can you list the stats for the huge composite long bow, the damage and the max strength bonus. Currently I use a mighty composite, but like the Idea of a larger one.

+7 Huge Mighty Composit Longbow +1. Shoots 140 feet base, does 2d6+7 damage (Plus the +1 for magical quality). Not sure on the weight. Since it's made of Dragonbone, and huge size, I reasoned that the capacity for the mightiness is doable; you can only go to 4 with a large one, and higher with a Huge bow.

Actually, I thought I read that Huge went to +6. Or +2 for each size cat increase. Its nowhere near official, just a random memory.

A Large bow can be +4. So I don't see anything wrong with a Huge being up to a +8. There's a frost giant in the Epic Dungeon adventure with a Mighty +16 Gargantuan bow.
