Star Wars D20 - I would love to see some new products

I am truly, truly disappointed.

After everything people have mentioned... Even after the video game-specific posts...

Nobody, nobody mentioned The Bard's Tale. :(

Surely I can't be the only one who'd love to see (or even write) a D20 Bard's Tale? (And I mean the classic games, not the new one which--while it may be a perfectly good game--is not true Bard's Tale.)

It wouldn't even be that hard, since at least 50% of standard D&D could port over fairly easily.

(And while it doesn't have to be D20, I'd love to see a Gabrial Knight RPG. I could easily create one myself using the new World of Darkness, but I want to see more official background.)

Great games, least the first two. The third one was very power hungry and the time traveling bit wasn't that good. But the games had little plot, and less campaign informtion. So while cool and fun I'm not sure what they have to offer.

But the single greatest thing they had was, what was it? Like Summonn Fred, or some common name like that. And the spell text was like Fred is a busy guy but he''ll come by and help you for a while. Fred was of course like one of the most powerful things in the game.

Herb. Summon Herb. :)

Sad thing is, I was such a geek even back then that I couldn't help but wonder what Herb's backstory was.

See, that's the sort of thing I'd be all over, as a writer, if I thought I could get the license for Bard's Tale. (And I thought it would sell more than 17 copies.) :D

And actually, much as I wanted to, I never got to play the third, so I have only the first two to go on. See, I was one of 6 people in the world to buy an Apple IIGS. And they only made the first two games GS-compatible before the creative team split up. Sure, I could have played the old Apple version on the GS, but after seeing the music and graphics of the GS version, I couldn't go back to the Apple II variant for the last game.
