I hope this is the right place, and I'm hoping some 4E hopefuls are interested.
To pass the time for until April, I'm thinking of grabbing one of the recent WotC adventures (Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde, or Barrow of the Forgotten King) and playing it with SWSE rules.
I'm not talking about one of the many 'let's incorporate SWSE into 3.5 thread' goals, but I mean using SWSE as written to generate fantasy characters and run them through. Obviously, the monsters would need to be converted, but I'm thinking a fairly liberal approach. BL, I think there's enough in the SWSE book to play a low-level fantasy adventure that'll probably be good prep for 4e.
This wouldn't be anything long-term-I have every intention of dumping it in April. But I figure it would be something to have fun with in the interim.
Anyone interested in helping?
Heck, we could even PBEM.
Any recommendations for choosing the adventure? (I'm leaning towards Slaughtergarde, but if this actually works, choosing Forgotten King instead could lead to Sinister Spire and Fortress of the Yuan-ti.)
