A group of adventurers somehow ends up on an island with a human city upon it. A seer upon the island has foreseen an impending disaster or perhaps the island has been shaken by quakes.
The cause: Some great underwater race such as the Sahuagin are planning to conquer the island by taking it underwater. They are slowly digging away at the foundation of the island and with the help of powerful magic they intend to plunge the island into the sea plundering it after the inhabitants drown.
The PC's must bring battle to the denizens of the deep sea to save the island inhabitants from extinction.
