Me too; in fact, Buttercup and I are having a tug of war for you using our hearts. Very messy - but very sincere, too.

You have my prayers, and my thoughts, and my best wishes. Be strong with your family, and draw strength from one another.

I'm sorry to hear that, Mark. You have the oppourtunuty to make the most of the time you have left with her, and you're doing just that. It may not be much of a blessing, but it is one [I lost my grandmother almost exactly this time last year. It was very sudden and I didn't get the chance to see goodbye in any meaningful way... what am I saying? This is about you...].

Best wishes.

P-kitty, you're damn strange, you know?:p

The humor is designed to mask how strongly I sympathize for Mark, and how much I'd hurt in his place. It's a pretty consistent defense mechanism for me.

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words and thoughts. She's still hanging in there. She has good and bad moments and will be under very close care as her days progress. She will no longer be able to withstand further treatments, so the regimen now is simply to keep her as comfortable as possible.

I'll continue to be scarce but will do my best to keep up with obligations and Email, so please don't get the impression that my severely reduced posting is a sign that I am absent. I will be focusing primarily on CMG business when not otherwise occupied and appreciate everyone's understanding in this.
