I write workhorse products . . . Should I?

You've done very well so far without the dubious benefit of my opinion. However, since you did ask ...... :)

I think you ought to revise your product line and start publishing "A dozen and one" supplements.

You can then have the 12 workhorse items that practically everybody on this thread likes, plus 1 "off the wall" item that will challenge your creativity and attract a different type of customer.

Personally, I'm swamped with useful, workhorse products - most of which I'll never get round to using. I've got no plans to spend even a few dollars buying some more.

However, I'd happily spend the same amount of money for one original, thought provoking idea that sparks my imagination. Even if I hate what you do with the idea, it will get me thinking about how I would have done it differently.

When I'm in for lunch next week you can show me your navel. ;)

Come to think of it, this is the only subject not covered in any d20 material to date, navels. I mean we've got books of necromancy and neurons and drow and dragons and cities and settings and weapons and whales and so forth on ad infinitum. But's there is nothing on belly buttons, even though all mammals have them....

DIBS!
