Valda took a shot with her bow, but the arrow bounced uselessly off of the fiend's hide. <strong>"It's no use,</strong> the elf knight shook his head, <strong>"Only magic can harm this foul thing."</strong></p><p></p><p>Bible had a magic sword, presented to her by the council when she had been elected Reeve. She bounded across the tunnel and slashed into the fiend, drawing thick purplish blood.</p><p></p><p>[ooc]Nicely saved! Jack narrowly missed.
