[QUOTE="FitzTheRuke, post: 9199139, member: 59816"] Bible's shield connected with the creature as it shuffled off, scorching itself on Quinn's bonfire. The shield struck only the hard carapace of its back, harmlessly shoving it away. Before she could pursue, two others of the creatures lumbered for her and reached out with clawed hand and snapping mandibles. They almost fought over her, knocking their big shoulders together as if they hoped to be the next one to have a treasured meal like the other did with poor Tenibor. In the light of Quinn's nearby fire, Bible got her shield into one of their mandibles, and she dragged its head to block the other one's as she took scratches from their claws to her armored torso. But she found herself looking at those strange, strange eyes... [ooc]Quinn did 11 to UH1. Bible took 26 from scratches, but avoided the worst of it. So, the UH's gaze triggers on Starting your Turn looking at them. No one did that last round, but now everyone but Eoghan will. On a failed saving throw, the creature can’t take reactions until the start of its next turn and rolls a d8 to determine what it does during that turn. On a 1 to 4, the creature does nothing.
