Kobold Stew

Last Guy in the Airlock
Supporter
Bellalalalinda slides off of Whistler's back, so that she is standing behind him when suddenly she hears Gul chanting and she finds herself enshrouded in darkness. Eep!

"Charge her, Whistler!" she shouts, pouting at the Giant's female ally. A spell caster, Bellalalalinda assumes. Can the gorilla sense where she means? She hopes so. Casting Hunter's mark on her as the the young gnome becomes enclosed within Gul's spell, she reaches for her crossbow and steps back until she can see. Then she fires, aiming for the woman's head.

Meanwhile, Whistler charges, and reaches one of the guards surrounding the giant. As his mistress's bolt flies past his head, he feels a renewed vigour and his fist flies.

OOC: Whistler starts in JH231, Bell in JH 232.

Bell:
Move to JF 234 (allows a shot at JG 215).
Bonus action: Hunters Mark on woman at JG 215.
Attack: Natural explorer gives advantage, so better of [roll0] and [roll1] (includes -5 for sharpshooter, no range adjustment). If a hit, damage = [roll2] plus [roll3].

Whistler:
Double move to JH 19. That's line of sight to JF 234, and so W can see B, and so coordinated attack lets him use his reaction for a melee attack against JI 219. To hit: [roll4]. If a hit, damage = [roll5].

Bell and Whistler take down two initiates.

Davaros has to attack both times to drop a bugbear.

OOC: Presuming player actions end there. If someone else shows up they are welcome to join the battle.

The giantess retaliates against Koldan with a rock. It hits in spite of disadvantage from range and deals 31 points of damage. She then moves back and takes a misty step.

The orb in the middle of town pulses one time.

The Skyweaver (witch) moves to lightning bolt angle and unleashes on Whistler, Davaros, and his Horse. 29 Lightning damage, DC 13 dexterity save, I'll let you all roll in case there are reactions.

"Face our wrath interlopers! No-longer will we hide in the shadows! Vengeance! For the queen!"

One bugbear charges towards the back line.

The rest dogpile Urik. One bugbear hits for 16 damage. One initiate lands a dagger attack for 5.

So intently focused was Koldan on bringing down the Giantess that he noticed the rock only far too late. Though he tried to throw himself out of harm's way, the stone was still large enough and thrown with enough force to bludgeon half of Koldan's body, sprawling him to the ground with a cry of pain. Already he could feel the adrenaline racing through his veins to try and contain the damage, armor doing barely anything to brace against the impact.

It was all he could muster to keep his weapon safe at the expense of his limbs: he could only stagger weakly back to his feet, limping badly on one leg while trying to reload the bow. When he sought the Giantess once more to return the favor, Koldan scowled: his gifted sight could no longer mark her for him. The blow he had received had quite literally knocked the vision out of him, and the Ranger had half a mind to hunt and put her down until he noticed another, larger creature right next to him.

Eyes wide, Koldan snapped into action, switching his sight back on and locking it on The Bugbear as he let loose at point-blank range with a pair of sharpened quarrels.

Game Info:
Fire Giants attacked Triboar looking for a "Vonindod", which they called a weapon that was in many parts. Fire Giant Duke Zalto of Ironslag wants this to "win".

Darathra was a Harper: she gave me a Platinum Badge of Triboar to present to Dorkath The Orkath to let him know of the attack.

There is a Kobold in the area of Yartar named "Lightwalker", a craftsman with 'some incredible weapons'.

There is a 5,000 GP Bounty on "The Weevil", a Dwarven Brigand last seen at Xantharl's Keep as a stable cleaner. The reward is for delivering him alive to authorities in Mirabar.

Ghelryn Foehammer has given us a letter of recommendation to King Morinn and Queen Tithmel of Citadel Fellbar. Ghelryn will also give us a 10% discount on customized weapons and armor in Triboar.

Harshnag is a Frost Giant of FORCE GREY should be told about the Giants. Apparently his company was 'mostly murdered' after an encounter with a Dragon and a Traitor.

The Kraken Society is a criminal organization that worships 'some tentacled horror of the deep', and was been gathering artifacts related to the Ancient Giant Civilization that was destroyed in a war with Dragons. They are planning something big in the name of 'The Sunken City'.[/sblock][/sblock]
