Witnessing Koregar fall (again),Whisper started to have serious doubts about her ability to live longer than the next few seconds. Grateful for the dwarf's valor and ability to withstand tremendous amounts of damage that would otherwise be directed at her, the halfling drew on her inner reserves, breathed deeply, and fired a single arrow as time seemed to dilate around her. She watched as the arrow...

OOC: Action - Attack w/Advantage (Expending Inspiration) [roll0] or [roll1]; Damage [roll2]
Bonus Action - Dodge
Move - Maybe, if she doesn't kill the creature, she'll drop her bow, draw her shortsword, and move in to try to distract it.
 

Whisper's arrow strikes the creature true, somehow shutting it down. It starts to... deflate... and curl inside out into a horrible mess of strange brackish fluid and yellow flesh on the ground. The substances all seem to smoke and release an acrid smell.

You each gain 550 xp.
 

Whisper rushed over to the fallen dwarf, tearing a piece of her cloak to desperately bandage his wounds.
