Kasqa first spotted the ship more than 12 days ago (I'm not sure exactly how long ago that was) from the cliffs of Mbala (post #1310) but he's not good with common and may have missed much of her story. Of course, it has already been established that he shouldn't have been able to see it from there (it was 130 miles away) so maybe it's not all that strange that it might not have even happened yet at the time.
