Syan addresses the group at the table:

"We expect the caravan to arrive within the next day or two. In the meantime, we have rooms for any of you who will aid us, as well as food. One of our order will provide you with what equipment we can, in order to assist you in this task, and should you require it, healing as well."

"We ask that you blend with the crowds and keep a watchful eye on the interactions of the Children of Toril. Should anything suspicious be discovered, you are to report it to a priest. We do not wish for you to be placed in harm's way if we are able to prevent it. The caravan will most likely be here for several days, and it is our intention to keep the peace, while ensuring that no further disappearances happen, until the caravan has departed."

"We have a few others who will be doing a more intense search for information on the disappearances themselves. If they turn up any information, we may task you with aiding them."

Shade
The man nods his agreement with your words, and walks to the door, opening it slightly. The inkeeper stands, red-faced and angry, in the hallway, flanked by two priests.

The man passes some money to the inkeeper. "It's most of it. Please, give me a little time to get the rest."

The inkeeper nearly explodes at this. "You seem to have a very short memory! I have no time for this - I have a business to run, and am not in any mood to tolerate gamblers and their debts!" He pushes the door open.

The priests step forward and take the man by the arms. He puts up very little struggle, and they escort him out of the room and into the hall.

The inkeeper eyes you angrily. "I suppose he owes you some money, too! Or maybe you're of his ilk, eh? In either case, I've got no business with you, and he's no longer renting this room from me, so you'll have to clear outta here!"

Shade stood there as the priests bustled the man into the hall. Well... there goes my money.

He flashed a grim look at the man. "Don't think this changes things between us. I'll be along to collect my debt."

He turned to the innkeeper. "How much does he owe you?"

Shade began moving for the door. His cloak positioned to cover his blades. He nodded to the priests as he passed.

OOC: If nothing else happens, he heads back to his room.

Thorn

Having done nothing but eat and sit for the day, he feels that he is gettign fat around the waste. Eager to get some exercise in, he excuses himself from the table and walks over to the priest. He leans over and whispers quietly, "do yuo by any chance have a 'private' room? the cheese is not sitting well..."

He smiles as he waits for an answer. He starts to cringe as the cheese races through his bowels... he starts to skip up and down and hop up and down..,. waiting for a reply....

"I reeeeaaaallllyyy have to go..."
;)

sick of the (weeks of) inactivity, Killian gets up from the table, says to Syan, "Will do, boss..." and leaves the temple to 'blend with the crowds and keep a watchful eye on the interactions of the Children of Toril.'
