Thinking to herself for a moment, not wishing to blurt her musings out to hastily, Susanna calmy causes her voice to rise from the rear of the chamber over the numerous others in the chamber. "Khelban Arunsun, Archmage of Faerun, do not try to play us like saps here. We all have heard of your intellect and prowess, and the story you tell is rather.....thin." Susanna's face crumples in thought once more as the Archmage's eyes rest upon her. Rustling through her pockets for a piece of charcoal and a small sheet of paper, she eventually calmly looks up once more into the face of the mage. "You are a powerful wizard yourself Khelban, and are associated with other great powers of the Realms as well. I'm sure that there are many in this room that cause the evil of these lands nightmares, but we did not get here by pretending to be...how does it go again, mushrooms?" "If it were as simple as finding and closing a gate, there would be hundreds of capable people able to do it, why drag us from our homes to help? There is something more to this obviously, something that you know and aren't telling us." Susanna allows her gaze to drift across the others in the room. "Lets us speak honestly people, when we were called her did we not expect something a little more...dire? By the sound of what is happening, and how wide spread the trouble is, there must be more than one gate or portal open. Chaos may be unpredictable, but they are not stupid. As soon as they could enter the Realms physically they no doubt opened several more 'support' gates. No doubt the primary gate is powerful enough to lend it's magic to the lesser ones, either that or they have an extremely powerful group of magic wielders on their side to create independant ones." "So which is it Khelban, because I see in your eyes that you have something very specific in mind for us, and though I am willing to assist, I don't like it at all..."
