The principles that rule Teraphim arcana are very distant from those learned by the gnome, but she can understand that these beholders are probably slaves to a larger master. Her former encounters with creatures like this suggest that most of them follow certain behavioral patterns. Also, they are scouting entities, and even though their intentions are pacific at first, the alarming number of appendages suggest that they are handy, capable of multi-tasking and quite ready to fight. You'll feel - light discomfort -." - A small needle comes out, puncturing Thulwar's palm and recovering a meager ammount of blood.
