Kurzon, Udit, & Drako The Dracolich moved to follow Pyrus, but suddenly Kurzon appeared as if out of nowhere and slammed into the Dracolich with his sword. It was like hitting solid stone and there was no discernible effect. Likewise, Udit's arrows careened off of the dragon's bones, splintering into shards. The dragon tried twice to step on Kurzon and drive the paladin into the ground. The first time, Kurzon rolled to the side, barely grazed. The second, he blocked with his shield, straining with the great effort. Then the dragon's enormous head snaked down at him and lifted him in it's terrible jaws. It shook him like a cat would with it's prey and dropped him on the ground for dead, but the determined paladin would not die and Kurzon rose to his feet. There was fight in him still, in spite of the great red tooth-holes. Then Draco fired two bolts of force which scored along the Dracolich's brow-ridge, leaving small cracks and a shower of small stones. It was possible to hurt the creature after all...
