Torbin & Drako Torbin continued to fire arrows at the Dracolich, hoping to chip-away at it, in the very least. Sure enough, his arrows left small cracks in the petrified bone of the dragon's skull. Seeing a flaming wolf skeleton leaping down the stairs toward him, Torbin moved back into the prison, hoping that the others would be able to defend the group against that threat. Sesto's Angels were the first line of defence. They swung their glowing swords of light at the beasts, scoring moderate hits, but neither managed to fell the creatures, which bounded past them down the stairs. The first one reached Sesto and leaped on the cleric, who got his shield in front of him and managed to lean forward sufficiently to stop himself from being knocked over backward down the stairs. The wolf chomped on the edge of the shield with it's skeletal fore-paws scrabbling at the holy-symbol on the front, fire licking around it. From under Sesto's arm, Drako smashed the creature in the haunches with a bolt of force, but still the beast did not let up. The second fiery wolf came up behind the first. Stopping, it let out a howl that erupted the staircase into an inferno, blackening the corpses of the mercenaries lying on the stairs, and engulfing Sesto and Pyrus in flames.
