Bi is really having the fight of his life; the worst fight that is. He takes a completely amateurish swing at Hong, and there is a slight twinge of frustration at the corner of his mouth, though it passes almost instantly. Putting on a smile, and relaxing his stance, he says, " Well, I think that is enough warming up. Now, defend yourself! " as he changes to the offensive stance, Stinging Bee.

Occupied by the duel, everyone is surprised as two five-man-squads, each led by a sergeant come from around the building. They wear lamellar armor and each has a sword and shield in hand.

"Stop and hold in the name of the Emperor!" One of the sergeants calls.

ooc: This being a heroic game, heroes can still act first. Please don't forget to note the stunt you use in the given round.

"I hope you know you are interrupting a duel Sergeant!" proclaims Shang, as he enters the stance of the golden Lotus, with his hands in namaste. "I also hope that you know what punishment await those how seek to interrupt a duel." he adds, before waving his hands in the air, and then rising them above his head, as he takes a step back and kneels. At first it seems that nothing happens, but seconds later, one of the terra cotta statues of the garden, that immortalizes a general of times past, starts shaking, and moving, and steps down from it's pedestal, ready to fight for an honourable cause!

Terracotta warrior stats:
Stats
AC 18; HD 3; Move

(regardless of statue’s armament); Stunts—
Fortitude 1d3.

Loose Bi holds steady in his fighting stance while looks around at the surrounding imperial soldiers. " Perhaps, my friend, we can conclude this contest another time, " he says to Hong Zeng. But suddenly he flashes a wicked smile, and adds, " But perhaps you might be interested in a different challenge: Let us see who can defeat more of the Emperor's lackeys! "

(( Some pre-action chatter. I rolled the stunt for the first round of the new combat, however, for after Bi gets his answer. ))

Xiagei Song steps forward, next to the other warriors. As he settles into a loose stance, he gives his staff a quick shake. The dressing slides easily off the top to reveal the tines of a Tiger Fork! "Making a scene may not be the best idea, but since the time for that has passed, allow this old man to join your contest as well. Perhaps you may learn something by the sight!"

OOC: Acrobatics Stunt for AC: 1d3-1=2
Song draws his Tiger Fork.

OOC: Nice stunts, but what do you do this round (unsheathing the weapon doesn't take an action)?
BTW, Hong nods and turns toward the soldiers.

OOC: I don't know if unsheathing my weapon takes an action or not. I just figured Song wouldn't likely be the first to throw a punch, so I had him take position with the guys.

Nodding, Loose Bi turns his back to one of the sergeants and crounches down in one motion; leaning back he then pushes off and launches himself backwards, spinning around so that his flying foot is aimed squarely at the man's head. When the sergeant dodges out of the way, Bi lands, absorbing the force with his legs, and then launching again at the soldier from behind with a flying fist.
