Iconic Evil Lands!

I've been thinking about really, overtly evil lands and realms recently. Greyhawk has Iuz (powerful divine evil overlord) and the Great Kingdom (monolithic evil empire) (in various contortions), and to a lesser degree, the Bandit Kingdoms (bandits and slavers), the Scarlet Brotherhood (secret society), and the Horned Lands (feuding divine evil overlords). Forgotten Realms has Thay (feuding arcane evil overlords), Thar (monsters!) and the Zhentarim (bandits and slavers), and...some other evilish places that I can't recall.

My campaign setting, which I'm tweaking and expanding, has Kaulderzhun (evil undead overlords), Tuonela (secret society/evil arcane overlords), Utgard (monsters!), Chollor and the Sarcian Alliance (slavers), "The Quiet Vale" (slavers/secret society) and Blackgate (evil divine artifact overlord/secret society). I'm trying to create/place some kind of (powerful evil arcane overlord) realm, and maybe one or two other evil lands to pester the good ones, but drawing a blank at the moment. So tell me about yours!

What are your Iconic Evil Lands like?

Empire of Maroon - Empire governed by either "The Emperor" (mortal? half- or pure fiend? figment maintained by 3 Arcanoloth lawyers?). The land fell prey to poorly controlled fiends 200 yrs earlier. Something conquered the whole land in 50 years then led a wave of expansion, ending when the Demon lord avatar was slain by the greatest heroes of the age. Now mostly City States bound by fiendish contracts.

The Faerie Court - area of the mortal world claimed by a Fae Queen. Not evil as much as chaotic and independent of reality. Faerie Tales more than Sword and Sorcery.

The Goblin Coast - warring tribal region, held back by the Valiant human & elf defenders on a 150 mile wall.
