So far, we know only
* it's a new system. Not an existing GR system, not D&D and not even the system used in the video game.
* it's got classes and it's got levels. (So it won't be anything like WFRP or Basic Role-Playing). However, just because a system's got classes and levels doesn't mean it'll automatically become similar to D&D.
It's still early to say if this will be pitched as a general D&D "replacement" and direct competitor, or whether it - and the overall world of Dragon Age - 's going to be branded as a specific niche. Personally, however, I felt GR missed a chance at taking major shares out of WotC's pie when True20 didn't get sufficient support to be a complete D&D replacement; and so I obviously hope Dragon Age isn't merely offered to the kids who plays the computer game.
